100% Chardonnay from Kinvarra Vineyard in the Upper Derwent Valley.
 
The 5th release of Chardonnay from this wonderful site for Future Perfect. A warm and dry growing season led to a bountiful harvest after the miserly 2023 vintage, a welcome relief. Hand picked fruit, again on the paschal moon in early April. Winemaking hasn't changed much from year to year here, with fruit whole bunch pressed to a mix of old and new French oak barriques and a couple of puncheons with varying degrees of solids. Natural ferments, sensitive lees work post ferment and full MLF. Aged for 11 months prior to bottling.
 
Grapefruit and yellow citrus, jasmin tea, barley water and white blossom. The warmer year lending a bit of added texture and width, yet still finishing pure and fresh. Another lovely expression of Chardonnay from the Upper Derwent Valley. 
12.8% ABV. 350 dozen produced.
